Educational Roaming (Eduroam) is a wireless service which allows staff and students from participating institutions to use wireless networks at cooperating universities in Australia and around the world using their institutions username and password. This will allow you access to your networked university resources and the internet.

The use of eduroam is governed by the Australian eduroam Policy and your universities policies regarding access to IT resources. For visitors to Queensland Health and Mater Medical Services the Acceptable Use Policy/Code of Conduct of your home institution applies. Staff and students placed at these sites for Learning and Teaching and Research purposes are also bound by any formal agreements with Queensland Health and Mater Medical Services with regards to their placement.
Authentication information is recorded by the University of Queensland on behalf of the QUDIT and your home organisation in case of network abuse and for statistical purposes.
